Ladies Darts - As a lot may know that we have a men's darts team but the ladies started to have a throw up and now started their own team with Jan Pointon as captain they have joined the ladies winter league, entered the ladies blind darts tournament which included another 9 clubs in which we came 1st Jan Pointon and 2nd Laura Oaks so a massive boost for the ladies ready for the new season I'm sure they will smash the league the way they have been playing. Good luck ladies I'm looking forward to writing up on their success.
An Evening in Memory of John Malcolm – John sadly passed away earlier this year, for those who where lucky enough to have known John you would of know he was the longest standing club member we had and a lot of members knew him as “Gentleman John”. Johns daughter Julia would like to hold an evening of remembrance for John on Tuesday 30th July from 7pm and would like to invite those who where lucky enough to have known John to come along and share your memories. If you would be interested in coming could you let myself or Steve Avis know.
Lost Glasses – Could I ask all members to see if they have mistakenly picked up a pair of gold Oakley sunglasses that where left in the club on the 5th of July to return them please.
