It is with much sadness and regret that I am informing members’ of the death of Dave Houzego he was a long standing member of the club and was one of the Clubs Trustees, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral is on the 15 March at 13.45 at The Oaks - Havant Crematorium
Afterwards at the Carlton Club, Drayton.
Our Condolences go to his wife Jane and their children Jo and Dan and also Grand Children Tom and Lilly.
Bar Prices.
The prices for wines and tonics will increase by 10p with immediate effect. (The suppliers increased their prices in the autumn and we no longer absorb these increases).
A reminder that it is not permitted that any drink is brought into the club it will be confiscated and further actions against the member may be taken.
If you have been in the club the last couple of days you will see that we now have a 75” screen TV to replace the old one which was showing signs of giving up. Please watch out for games that will be on at the club for you all to enjoy.
Fleetingwood Mac what a fantastic show they put on at the Carlton Club if you missed them you missed a fabulous night, I am sure they will be returning to the club in the future and hopefully a regular in years to come.
Spindlers Quiz - Congratulations to the winners who came first Chris Jenkins Team ‘Pep’s Drayton Select’ and well done to those that came 2nd and 3rd. Also a big thank you to Adam for supporting me with the Quiz we raised £85 for my charity MND which is fantastic.
Snooker
Well done to Rob Derry who won The White Snooker Cup last Sunday it’s great to see that we have a snooker team once again.

Chris Jenkins and Paul Barnden are our in house DJs so get your dancing shoes on and join us for what I hope will be a memorable night dancing and singing to 80’s music.

21 April 2019 - Kids free Easter party - Kids entertainer Robbie K. Food Usual hot dogs and Pizza. Free Easter Egg. Max 50 children and grandchildren up to the age 12. Names in the book please.
27th April 2019 – Out going presidents event - Music - back by popular demand are Decades, singing Jersey Boys hits and many more. Luxury buffet, Members £25 Guests £30 Max 90 Posh frocks and black tie. Tickets go on sale 11 March 2 tickets per member and a further 2 tickets 18 March.
All the usual events will continue Key to a fortune and Meat raffle every Friday, Bingo first Monday of the Month, Quiz Night every Thursday and Karaoke once a fortnight.
