Afternoon Sessions - Garden Only
UPDATE
Hi all due to a communication error the booking times for Saturday went awry so sincere apologies for that. We will take steps to ensure we do not repeat this mistake, as it was confusing.
IMPORTANT INFO – Session 1
We have decided to cancel session one on Saturday and commence session two at 1.45pm. The reason for this is a lack of demand. There are currently no bookings and we have to arrange staff so it is not viable.
IMPORTANT INFO – Session 2 and 3
We have a number of bookings for session two but have a reasonable amount of space still available.
We will now extend the booking opportunity to members and their guests on a first come first served basis but will draw the line on a relaxed number and layout.
In order to manage staff numbers we will close off booking on Friday at 7pm to allow us to manage staffing numbers. Once this deadline is reached we will close off to bookings for these sessions.
IMPORTANT INFO – Weather
We have been monitoring the weather forecast very closely and will make a decision on Friday morning as to the likelihood of rain.
It will be impossible to safely host this event if there is a likelihood of rain and we will make a judgment call as we see fit but in fairness to staff and our booked artist we need to make that call Friday am. We will re host any cancelled events at an appropriate time.
IMPORTANT INFO – VE Day Saturday 8th May
We have plans forming to host a Special VE themed event in the Garden on Saturday 8th May with the Southsea Belles. Details will be released early next week but it will be along similar lines as before and will again be subject to numbers and the weather .
