                                                    Sport

Sport Fixtures on the Television

The club currently is subscribing to Sky Sports AND BT sports. Sport being on the TV in the main bar is subject to club booking and functions, and the snooker room can be used but priority strictly to snooker.

Football - Some televised football is shown at the club.

Football fixtures  Not all matches will be shown or if a private function is on

After some very hard negotiation with both Sky Sports and BT Sports I am delighted to confirm we have struck an acceptable deal with both ensuring we can again offer a wide scope of televised sport for the next 12 months. We are currently looking at how best to promote the offering but urge all members to embrace what we have and use the club as a base to bring family and friends to enjoy live televised sports events on the TV and/or Big Screen

Not all matches will be shown if a private function is on

The fixtures are also on the board to the right of the main door as you come in. If you do come along and watch any sports event, there is an additional book by the guest book for you to sign as this will help continue sports coverage in the future.

Rugby 6 Nations - Is nearly upon us and all England Games will be shown. Please see details of the competition on the club notice board

Darts - The club has several fixtures home and away this season, and the final league position is here.

A copy of the darts fixtures is here

Ladies Darts - As a lot may know that we have a men's darts team but the ladies started to have a throw up and now started their own team with Jan Pointon as captain they have joined the ladies winter league, entered the ladies blind darts tournament which included another 9 clubs in which we came 1st Jan Pointon and 2nd Laura Oaks so a massive boost for the ladies ready for the new season I'm sure they will smash the league the way they have been playing. Good luck ladies I'm looking forward to writing up on their success.
